Spot Channel Replacement | |

Spot Channel Replacement allows you to print files designed for a spot color workflow on printers without spot color channels. For example, the spot colors on a CMYKSS file can be converted to CMYK so the file can be printed correctly on a CMYK printer.

NOTE: If the [Auto-replace Spot Colors] checkbox in the PS/PDF Separations of the PS/PDF tree is left unchecked, the defined colors in the "Spot Channel Replacement" dialog is not referenced. TIP: To learn more about printing with spot colors, the “Printing with Spot Colors” article.
